Children of any ages can get a treatment and it can be very beneficial especially if they are athletic. Since their bodies are much smaller, a 30 minute treatment is usually the best option.

Treatment can include a variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, positional release, soft tissue release, soft tissue mobilisation, peripheral joint mobilisation, myofascial release.

The red marks are a result of the blood being pulled into the area. The darker the mark, the more stagnant fluids (toxins, blood and lymph) are brought up during the treatment. The marks last anywhere from a few hours to 15 days, however the more often you receive cupping for the same issue the lighter the marks will be.

Unfortunately, if you take anticoagulants you cannot have cupping as a treatment.

Indian head massage is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck and shoulders. It will be performed the traditional Indian way with you in a seated position.

The aim of Indian head massage is to release tension in the muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian head massage can also help with relieving fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and sinusitis. Psychological benefits can be release of anxiety and stress, increase levels of alertness and concentration.

I went to Sophie regarding hip pain that I've had since Manchester marathon and national three peaks last year. I've been struggling with my right hip during my runs and it's been an issue that I couldn't seem to get rid of.
