Along with medical acupuncture I will use a variety of techniques, such as, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue mobilisations, soft tissue release, peripheral joint mobilisations, and myofascial release. 

Please note that a 30 minute appointment are for those individuals who are looking for a highly focused treatment. For example, you only need a specific area focused on such as the shoulder, or just the lower back.

30 minute Sports Therapy with Medical Acupuncture

I would recommend at least a 45 minute appointment for your first appointment, however this is dependent on what is wished to be treated 

Treatment can include a variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, positional release, soft tissue release, soft tissue  mobilisation, peripheral joint mobilisation,  myofascial release.

45 Minute Sports Therapy / Sports Massage

For those who are looking for a highly focused treatment. For example, you only need a specific area focused on such as the shoulder, or just the lower back. 

Children of any ages can get a treatment and it can be very beneficial especially if they are athletic. Since their bodies are much smaller, a 30 minute treatment is usually the best option. 

Treatment can include a variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, positional release, soft tissue release, soft tissue  mobilisation, peripheral joint mobilisation,  myofascial release.

75 Minute Sports Therapy / Sports Massage

As long with myofascial dry cupping, treatment can 
include a variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, positional release, soft tissue release, soft tissue  mobilisation, peripheral joint mobilisation,  myofascial release. 

Myofascial dry cupping is a soft tissue treatment that involves depressing cups and the skin, to create a vacuum. This lifts the soft tissue and creates an upward stretch within the muscle.

The benefits are it can reduces pain,  increase localised circulation, increase his oxygen and nutrition content within the tissue, removes stagnant blood and waste products, re initiates the healing process to microtrauma, stretches fascia and connective tissue, which leads to a relaxation response.

The red marks are a result of the blood being pulled into the area. The darker the mark, the more stagnant fluids (toxins, blood and lymph) are brought up during the treatment. The marks last anywhere from a few hours to 15 days, however the more often you receive cupping for the same issue the lighter the marks will be. 

Unfortunately, if you take anticoagulants you cannot have cupping as a treatment.

Compared to a 30-minute massage, I can efficiently work on more muscle groups.

Indian head massage is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck and shoulders. It will be performed the traditional Indian way with you in a seated position. 

The aim of Indian head massage is to release tension in the muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian head massage can also help with relieving fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and sinusitis. Psychological benefits can be release of anxiety and stress, increase levels of alertness and concentration.
